For a consultation, I do a deposit to hold the time. If we're not a fit and we haven't used a tool on the call, I refund the deposit back to you; if we are a fit, that deposit goes towards your coaching program. If you want to hold off on a program, and we've used a tool you're able to reuse, or if you don't show up, I keep the deposit.
Because I only take on clients I know I can create results for, and within a certain timeframe, I don't give quotes until we have a consultation first. I have self-led and personalized options and unlike counseling, we do set a timeframe for when results are experienced, so there's no open-endedness/wondering when results will happen/guesswork on cost.
If you're in a relationship: The way I work is I would have a consultation with each of you individually and then we would do a together call. This way each of you have full safety and security to communicate without concern about how a partner may react or only saying what they think a partner may want to hear. Many times we can be struggling with the same issue, but communicating about it in different ways.
